Why Wooden Pallets?

When pallets and skids were first constructed, years ago, they were constructed using wood products. Today, pallets and skids are constructed out of a variety of materials such as cardboard, plastic, steel. While corrugated pallets, plastic pallets, and steel pallets are utilized in a variety of industries, wooden pallets continue to dominate the market both in the United States, and around the world. Despite the variety of pallet materials out there, wooden pallets continue to be the most common pallet manufactured and used in today’s industries. So why is that wooden pallets are so popular?
